One Sunday at the beginning of October, Corette Faux and her friend Savannah came to visit the studio and we had a fun afternoon styling dreamy florals and still-life scenes. Corette runs CFleur Design – a luxury textile online store where she hand-dyes silks using botanical methods, and turns the silk into gorgeous ribbons and table runners. I’ve used lots of the ribbons on my bridal bouquets over the Summer and they are just gorgeous.
Corette is also an amazing photographer and has shot weddings and editorials all over the world, so I was really excited when the chance came up to work together. Savannah was our beautiful model – and I love how romantic and dreamy the images turned out. I’m a massive fan of using locally grown flowers, and my supplier West End Flower Farm had picked the most gorgeous Dahlias for me to use, and I foraged loads of copper bracken to create a little backdrop in the studio.
Big Love to Corette & Sav for coming to visit <3
