I can’t even begin to describe the highs of this years wedding season. We’ve had so many beautiful briefs to run wild with, and so much trust from our couples and planners. There’s been ALOT of flowers, both locally grown and imported. Alot of chicken wire, and a lot of coffee consumed, a lot of calluses on my hands!

As you know, it is just ‘me’ behind the scenes, I do all of the day-to day stuff, such as the never-ending admin, the design proposals, the conditioning and flower prep, the ordering, the emails, the site visits and client meetings, I try to be as hands-on as possible with the creative ‘making’ along with a handful of trusted freelancers to help me pull everything together with their creative talent on the day. I have so much gratitude, to every human bean who has supported, helped, crafted and worked for this little business of mine. It starts with me, but ends with a collective, and I am forever grateful and blessed. With wedding flower briefs getting even bigger, even bolder and requiring more and more thinking outside the box for 2020 – I cannot wait to begin the madness all over again.

But before the New Year starts, here’s to 2019 – what a corker.
