When Megan and Ross got in touch about their intimate Summer wedding at Hotel Du Vin  Winchester , I knew instantly they were going to be a dream to work with.  They first met whilst attending University of Winchester and wanted to hold their celebrations in the city that held so many amazing memories – they were too cute to boot!

The couple run a coffee shop in Philadelphia USA, and wanted to incorporate a subtle coffee theme into the flowers. My first thoughts for interpreting the coffee theme were using beautiful mocha-toned roses & Dahlias ‘Cafe Au Lait’ – a match made in heaven! The colour palette included muted browns and dusty pinks, creams, mocha tones and hints of lilac & peach. We used locally grown roses, dahlias and delphiniums, chocolate cosmos, Orlaya, Japanese anemone, lisianthus, astilbe . The flowers complimented the intimate space at Hotel Du Vin perfectly – I just loved the tones and the subtle pops of lilac along with the beech foliage which was just on the cusp of turning autumnal.

Thank you to Megan & Ross for also choosing to work with Angela Ward Brown Photography  (one of the best photographers in the county in my opinion!) so I knew these images were going to be gorgeous . Without delay I will leave you to enjoy them!  J x
